Coach-ill

Dress/ Handmade, Underwear/ American Apparel, Shoes/ Melissas

$up,
This is my outfit from day two of the first weekend of Coachella. I made this dress by hand. I know it's really tacky, but I really love exactly how tacky it is. It reminds me of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. I love these shoes I am wearing because one they are super 90s, and to they smell like tutti frutti. All of the shoes by the company Melissa smells like tutti frutti, it's pretty great. They have also done collaborations with Vivian Westwood, they are worth checking out for sure.

The best performance on saturday was Ty Segall, hands down. Right after his performance my brother and I got stopped to do a video for H&M. They just videoed what we were wearing, but they were really interested in my brother for some modeling jobs. Unfortunately I got cut from the video, but my brother is in it!

~*BB I'M FABULOUS*~

Glasses/ UNIF Moody's, Vest/ DIY, Shirt/ UNIF, Skirt/ American Apparel, Shoes/ Jeffrey Campbell

$up,
I feel super brandalicious in this post. I never really wear this many brands, but I was so excited about my newest purchases. I got these beautiful rainbow moodys for free because I bought this unif shirt during their moody promotion ~score~. The top is a little bit off white, so I had to wear something that was a little bit off white. I paired it with this American Apparel dress (but I wore it as a skirt) and it actually looked better than I expected. I then through this vest on. I started making this vest over the summer and I just finished it at the end of last term. Unfortunately it is winter and it is freezing, so I can't really wear this and make it look as cool as it would normally. I now endure real winters, unlike California, I can't hang. Taking this picture was pretty miserable, but it had to be done. Incase you can't tell, the back is entirely embroidered and it says "BB I'm Fabulous". Lastly I put on these beat up Jeffrey Campbell platform Oxfords. These were my first platform shoes, and I have loved them to pieces, but their time is almost up. It's really sad when you spend a lot of money on shoes that fall apart in a couple of years. When I start to make and sell shoes, I am going to make sure that they never break/ fall apart. If they ever do, it will be after like 20 years or something. Quality.

My mom got here today and I couldn't be happier. I have a lot of really fun things that I am planning to do with her, one of them being a Harry Potter studio tour!

Butt-Head

Jumper/ Camden Market, Vest/ Bleached Vintage, Shorts/ American Apparel, Shoes/ Dr. Martens

$up,
My hair is grey, but I promise it is intentional. I want to warn everyone that if you plan to go white blonde or some kind of grey, your hair is most likely going to be destroyed. I have been doing the strangest types of treatments to my hair to make it somewhat normal. Last night I poured olive oil on it and slept with it in my hair. This morning I didn't get to wash it all out, because oil and water suck together. So this was my look for the day.

Pinky

Skirt/ Beyond Retro, Socks/ Target Shoes/ Vagabond, Sweater/ Hanes, Shirt/ American Apparel

$up,
So this is the reason why I am sick today. I went out yesterday with my new friend Justin from Texas. We went down to Brick Lane because on Sunday'd they have a short of flea market. It was really very cool, I found a lot of really cool stuff, but only ended up buying a 2 pound watch and a faux fur coat for 15 pounds. I wasn't appropriately dressed for the weather in London because rain. We were walking around and it was only about 58 degrees and then it spontaneously started to rain. I guess that is just London though. We were both a little bit ill prepared and we ended up getting a cold.

Today this cold has knocked me on my ass. I have been so lazy and not productive. I have literally just been lying around and watching the office. Hopefully this is just a 24 hour bug, because Enrollment is on wednesday and I need to be at my best.

Sonny

Shorts/ Sun Thrift, Shoes/ Rose Bowl Flea Market, Shirt/ American Apparel, Turban/Something4you

$up,
These pictures were from a couple days ago. I had bought this turban from Something4you a while ago and only wore it once or twice. I really love the turbans and head raps that they sell, they are super affordable and comfortable which in my opinion is the best combination a company can have. I knew I wanted to wear it a couple of days ago I also knew I wanted to wear these awesome new shoes that I got from the Rose Bowl Flea Market this past sunday. Its a mixture of 40s and 70s so I wasn't really sure what to wear with these accessories. I had these pants that have always been to big for me, (but I wear them anyway.) that I got at Sun Thrift. They are red velvet and covered in flowers, right up my alley. whenever I wear them they kind of are drowning on me, so I kind of stopped wearing them for a while. I made the decision to cut them into shorts- I feel like this can either go really well or horribly. Lucky this time I think that I made the right decision. Lastly I put on this wonderful crop top I got at American Apparel a couple of years ago.

Sus

Shirt/ DIY cut crop top Skirt/ American Apparel Suspenders/ Hot Topic Shoes/ UNIF Cross Trainer Highs

$up,
The past couple days I have had many different thoughts going in and out of my head. I have been thinking a lot about moving, and I don't think I really have a fear about it anymore. I actually can't wait to leave. There is nothing for me at home anymore. When I think about moving I just get this warm excited feeling in my stomach, I feel like my adult life is going to begin when I move. However right now, I am still stuck here. While I am still here, I have been trying to spend as much time with the people I love, and do the things that I will miss the most about California, or just America in general. I have been thinking a lot about clothing as well, because I have to think about what I want to pack to move and what I want to keep here. What I have realized is, I don't have very many colorful articles of clothing anymore. I think thats annoying and I miss being super colorful, SO expect a bunch of color from me in the next couple of days!

A big thing that I have been thinking about is the content I post on this blog (Its always in the back of my mind). Someone on IFB pointed out to me that most fashion blogs post only OOTD posts and a lot of them get monotonous. I really agree but I think the blogs that I really like, it is because I personally like the bloggers and think they are interesting. So to me I like that they post OOTD looks, but they also post other things. Lately I haven't posted anything other than OOTD looks, so I think I want to post other kinds of content, so you (my readers) can get a better understanding of who I am as a person I guess. I have been reading a lot of other blogs and thinking of taking aspects of them that I really love and applying them to my blog. (My favorite blogs are under my blog roll page on this blog if your interested.) In the next couple days I am going to be posting a lot of other interesting stuff that have to do with fashion, but it wont necessarily be stuff that I am wearing. Please let me know what you think, I love feed back from my readers, because this is all for you guys!

50/5

Dress/ American Apparel Jacket/ Fifty Over Five Shoes/ Unif Lipstick/ Limecrime

$up,
Haven't posted in a couple days because I have been pretty busy for a first! Yesterday I helped my friend Rachel out with the styling for her new clothing line's (50/5 fifty over five) photo shoot. It was actually really cool and very fun. I thought that I would just be helping her style the clothing, but she left me in charge of that whole part. It was super cool. I also met models that were pretty big in the industry which was really interesting. Her line is mostly these really awesome one of a kind vintage army jackets with a custom patch on the back. The patches are drawings or pictures from her favorite artists and she also did some of the art. As a thank you she gave everyone a custom jacket that she had made. The one I got has a picture of a pug with a butt load of money around him (I am wearing them in these pictures). The print is a picture that her boyfriend Derek Perlman took. He's super cool, you should check out his blog, WeFucktard, if you have the chance. Her clothing line has not launched yet, so she doesn't have a website, but as soon as she does I will definitely be blogging about it! She does have an instagram where she posts pictures of her art and clothing @fiftyoverfive.

So these shoes.. As you may have read if you read my blog, I put these on my lust list a week ago. Since then The Well LA had a 50% off sale with their shoes. I actually had enough money to buy them which was super cool. My friend Lisa told me about the sale, so thank you Lisa! They got to my house the day after I ordered them, I was super stoked. I am so tall when I wear them, its ridiculous, but they are super comfortable. I don't really care for these pictures that much because the lighting mixed with my make up makes me look like I have 2 black eyes or that my eyes are closed. I tried something new with my make up and I don't think I really like it. I did a heavy 60s twiggy look and it was just to much make up for my face I think.
