Ditched

Slip/ SUn Thrift, Jacket/ Rokit, Shoes/ UNIF

$up,
This is the last picture from my shoot with Tish Jarrett. I think these are my favorite. I really like the light bleed. I love those kinds of things in pictures, but of course they always look better when your not expecting it to happen.

I got this jacket at Rokit, in shorditch. I really do like that store, but sometimes I wonder how much of the stuff is actually vintage. On sunday a friend and I went into a "Vintage" shop and I swear that they were trying to sell fake vintage at vintage prices. I could tell by the material that was used to make the garment. Frustrating. This slip (that you can hardly see) is from Sun Thrift. For a while I was really into slips, and wearing them as a dress. I think that kind of stuff is really cool because its supposed to be your underwear and your kind of fighting the power and wearing them outside without anything over it. I don't think its such a big deal anymore as it would have been if you did it in the 50s or 60s, but I kind of wish it was. I love shocking clothing. These shoes are my favorite. If you have been a fan of my blog for a while you have seen me post about wanting these shoes for practically all of 2013. I got them for christmas, and I do wear them a lot, but I never get pictures of it. NOW I HAVE SOME!

London Homies

Sweater/ Oakland Goodwill, Shirt/ Salvation Army, Leggings/ Target, Shoes/ Vagabond, Hat/ Camden Market, Glasses/ Giant Vintage Sunglasses.

$up,
This past weekend has made me feel so at ease because it seems like things are finally starting to fall into place. I have started my course at Uni, and I am excited about something for the first time in a long time. Today we went over the course load and our time tables, and I feel a little stressed but mostly just excited to learn and really show everyone what I am made of. I have this overwhelming feeling that I am going to wow my professors, and it feels so good. I finally feel like I am in the right place at the right time. I have never felt that way before.

Over the weekend I met up with this Wonderful photographer studying at London College of Fashion named, Tish Jarrett. She contacted me via email to colab for a shoot. I was super stoked because I have these awesome new glasses from Giant Vintage Sunglasses that I wanted to have captured for my blog. We went to this really cool courtyard of an apartment complex that was entirely filled with graffiti. I would have liked to get some more pictures there wearing different outfits, but the inconvenient thing about living in London is you can only bring what you can carry. I did however get to sneak in one more look that I will be posting tomorrow! Tish was a really nice girl and a really talented photographer. If you want to see more of her work you can look at her site here.

Music- I haven't really been on the look out for new music which bums me out a bit, but I will be scouting for some next week, so I can give you some new stuff to listen to! Face to Face- Daft Punk.

Nobody

$up,
So a friend of a friend approached me about modeling some of his clothing for his company "Nobody LA". He is this super awesome photographer that takes pictures at events around LA (Check out his photos here) and then he started to make his own clothing. He gave me a shirt and a beanie. If you haven't noticed, I fucking love beanies so I was really excited to get a Nobody LA beanie. I was eyeing that beanie for sometime so I'm very happy I got one. I am not typically a fan of graphic t-shirts, but this shirt is sooo comfortable and its a tight fitting shirt. I also really love the 00 on the back of the shirt. As you may have seen on any other fashion blogs Jerseys are really in right now. Most of the time I have trouble wearing t-shirts and making them look good, I think its because I have pretty narrow shoulders, but I decided to put it over a button up shirt. I saw someone on lookbook do it and it looked so cute, so i figured I would give it a shot. I wore a plain navy skirt to match my hair (Its my moms). I wanted to wear some patterned stuff with this outfit because I love patterns, so I wore these cute Lion socks that I got at Urban Outfitters a while ago. I wore my Ego and Greed platform sandals because they showed off my cute socks.

I really like this company and I love the photography that he takes. He is one talented person. I love promoting small businesses because those are the best kinds of businesses. I like things that are low key, this company is low key right now. The prices are very good, t-shirts are $15-20 and the hats are $20-25. Please check them out!
