The weeks in Uni are slowly progressing. We are still in the induction process and will probably be finished in another week. I had forgotten how much I loved being in an artistic environment. It's slightly different this time around, but it's still great. I think last time friends came easier because I wasn't looking so hard for them, I was looking for creativity and that came, but with huge cloud of self judgement. This time I got really bummed out in the first couple of weeks that I didn't have any friends or really anyone that I wanted to be friends with and then I realized that I was searching to hard for the right people and not letting it all come naturally. In this past week at Uni, I gave up my search for friendship and just started doing my own thing. I have been having the best/ most creative ideas for shoes, clothing, art and just everything. I have a lot of things right now in the works. The first full day I was here I ran into a woman on the bus and we were talking for a while. I was on my way to the doctors because I felt ill, and she could tell my energy was really anxious and upset. She told me to let life take control and I have been doing my best to let life lead me. I haven't been this happy in a while and it feels really great. Letting life lead the way has been working out so well and so many opportunities have presented themselves to me and I am so excited to see what comes next. It was difficult at first but I think moving here has been the best decision that I have ever made.

How darling is this dress? I found it at the Camden Market this past sunday. I went with Justin and this American girl that moved in on my hall. She actually lives in California about an hour from where I used to live in Oakland. It was pretty fun, we got crepes and some cute clothes for super cheap. This dress is made by a company called WEWA, and they are located in the Electric Ballroom in Camden Town every Sunday. The maker is a 70 year old woman and she makes really wonderful pieces that have all these really cool patches on them and then they are colored over with some kind of sparkly fabric paint. I loved the print on the dress and the angel is so tacky in the best way possible. I am sporting some Giant Vintage Glasses that are really pretty and pink. The shoes are Jeffrey Campbell and they are a hunk of junk. I have maybe worn these shoes six times and they are all broken and falling apart. I've had them for a couple of years though, but they haven't been worn very many times. I have been doing this sort of Edie Sedgwick/ Twiggy eye make up lately, and I actually really love the way it looks, I get some pretty weird stares from people when I am walking on the street though, but hey, I can deal with it.

Music- Baths, Aminals, 2010 sounded so good );

  2. Love it! Reminds me of a Japanese schoolgirl outfit, you see some Japanese girls in NY sort of dressed like that (but you beat them).
