I got this dress at a UNIF sample sale on the 14th of December. It was a couple of days after I got home from London, so i was a little bit jet lagged and it was sooo hot. I was dying. I went with my friends Kyla and Nick and it was actually really fun, besides being sick and tired from the jet lag. The UNIF sample sale was like a dream. That sounds so cheesy, but all the clothing was so pretty, and I never thought I would see it all in person. There is something special about seeing clothing in person after you have only seen them online. They had a lot of stuff that they are currently selling which was really cool. I didn't bring a whole lot of money, so I didn't walk away with much, but I got this dress, the Goner heels and some shorts for 5 bucks. I hope I get to go to another one soon, because it was a lot of fun. They should come to London and have a sample sale.

Tonight is New Years Eve! I'm going to a rave, which is so weird because I thought I was done with those for the rest of my life. It sounded like something funny to do though. It's a lot better then saying in my home town and going to some lame party. I think it will star 2014 in a more progressive way, leaving the past behind me. It's always weird when its christmas eve, because I feel like it always sneaks up on me, and I have a bunch of shit that I have to do and then it's christmas eve and I ran out of time. Every year its the same. I need to be more on my game next year. I smell a new years resolution. Merry christmas eve everyone, I'd love to know what is on your christmas list! Nu Hair

I've been on the verge of a cold for the past couple of days and it finally took over yesterday. mehhh. I took these photos yesterday after the christmas shopping madness before I felt really ill. I have a nu hair do as of a couple days ago, and I have to say, I love love love the way it came out. My old blonde/green wasn't cutting it any more. It may be hard to see from the picture but there are two different blues in my hair. It is dark blue at the roots and then it fades into a lighter blue. I can't wait to see how it looks when it all fades. I think thats my favorite thing about dying my hair, the way it looks when it is faded.

I got this dress the other day at goodwill in glendale. I was going to a party that night that called for ugly christmas sweaters, so I headed to sun thrift in sunland, which is my usual go to store, but they were randomly closed for an hour. Miffed, I drove out to glendale to buy hair dye and then I spotted the goodwill. I didn't find an ugly christmas sweater, or really any sweaters that were christmasy or ugly, but this dress caught my eye. I had to have it. I also bought this really tacky (In the best way possible) jacket with black fringe. I'll have to wear it in the upcoming posts so you can see it. my my I love tacky things.

Music- I love this song so much. It's so happy/sad and a little eerie.

Lazzzy

Dress/ Lazy Oaf, Shoes/T.u.k.

I got this dress from a Lazy Oaf sample sale back in London. It's really one of my favorites. Its made of really soft stretchy cotton like a really nice t-shirt. It is a rare dress that is small enough to fit me and is also long enough. Usually if it fits my waist, its to short and vice versa. Lazy Oaf is one of my favorite companies, I really like what they are doing in the fashion industry. Their stuff is really crazy but it still appeals to the masses. I think when a company can do that and still be original, they are doing something right. I love wearing my hair like this. I put it in a bunch of little buns, and when I took it out my hair turned into a really cute afro. Putting my curly hair into two buns made me look like a mouse in the best way possible.

When it became night time I switched up my outfit to a pink velvet baby doll dress to work at my dads night club. It was 90s night and the music was poppin off. I think that is my favorite night at Blue Mondays. If you ever have free time on a monday night, check out Blue Mondays at Boardners in Hollywood, every monday they have different themed nights, like there is a goth night, 90s night, 70s disco night and an electro night. They always play 80s inside (which is really fun). Check it out if you can!

Artist Spotlight: Olivia Bee

About a month ago, I was lerking the nastygal blog, and they featured this wonderful model/photographer. I checked out her website and fell in love. Her pictures are so beautiful and they all seem to have a dream like quality to them. She has done several jobs for magazines, and big brand companies such as Fiat, Converse, Nike and Adidas. She is only 18, but her work makes her seem like she is much older, she is really very good:

I got a third nose piercing yesterday. I don't really know how I feel about it exactly. For now it's alright. I am battling with jet lag for the past few days that I have been home. Its such bullshit. A friend told me jet lag is only supposed to last for 4 days, so he thinks I'm faking it. Pfff, is what I say. Jet lag is different for everyone. Music- I haven't really been actively looking for new music like I usually do, so this song isn't new, but I do love it.

I'm back home, and it feels sooo good! The weather down here is really nice, I can wear only one jacket instead of three. I got this jacket a couple of years ago at sun thrift. I fell in love with the embroidery of Native Americans on front panels of the coat. I love embroidery. This dress I also got at sun thrift. It is a pink silk slip. I think it's really interesting to wear slips or silk night gowns in public, because its something that used to be really inappropriate to wear outside of your bedroom, but it is made beautifully. It's a shame that it was inappropriate to wear outside because they are so beautiful, and almost no one would be able to see them. I really like to wear them out. I also love fishnets, I haven't been able to wear them in London because it's always way to cold (another reason why I am so happy to be home).

Music- I think this video is really interesting because it's shot on VHS. It has a home movie vibe, I love it. Blood Orange is also one of my favorites, so if you have the extra time, you should check out his stuff.
