Sunday Lust List

I got this idea from Being Perfect is Hard, (a blog that I really like.) and I thought it was a neat idea. I don't think my list will be as long as it is today in the upcoming weeks.

Unif Hellbounds in Mermaid pink. They are so hard to find ):
Unif Das Boot
Limecrime Velvetine, I am a sucker for this color.
The Molly Lolly Cone Bottoms, and the Heart Brawlette baithing suit. I love them together.
Yum Top and Leggings from Drop Dead Clothing. This is number one on my list, I need this together.
These two pieces are from Karma Clothing. A UK company I just found, their prices are super affordable, and their clothes are super cute. I am most excited about the dress.
This though... I found it on etsy, definitely buying it I found these on etsy, and they are adorable, and pretty cheap.
These shoes are also an etsy find, and they are super funky and cheap, I really want to buy them when I have the money.
These earings are awesome! I found them on etsy and they are 8$. GOLD.
This bag...

Face it

$up,
So my mom snapped this picture of me yesterday before I left to house sit. Right now I am currently sitting in a house watching dogs sleep. Its so exciting (...sarcasm...). I was supposed to do it when I came back from camp which would have been tonight, but Ryan had to work and since I came back early I switched days with him. I missed a really awesome costume party so I am a little bummed. All I want in life is to dress up as a rainbow.. but whatever.

I am wearing this super awesome beanie that my friend James Moreno (a.k.a. Nobody Photography) gave me. I posted a while back about a t-shirt he gave me. If you haven't read that post, DO IT. I'll just say again though, he is an awesome photographer, and he is so creative and talented, check out his facebook page and his store! I highly suggest buying this beanie, it fits great and its very comfortable, I love me a good beanie. The overalls I got at the Rosebowl swapmeet a while back, they are kind of broken, but they are made out of corduroy so that makes up for it (I am a sucker for corduroy.). The shirt is a 90s popcorn shirt, that will soon be on my etsy store. I'll keep ya posted about that. These shoes, I haven't worn in a while but they are super comfortable and affordable. I got them on ebay for like 30 bucks and the company is called Max-star. I really wanted to get the yellow ones that had a rainbow bottom, but at the time, my style wasn't so colorful. This necklace was also an ebay find. I was kind of mislead in the description because it said that it was going to be made out of metal but now thinking about it I think they were just talking about the color. I got it for .99 cents so I can't really complain. I really do love it though.

Soak it up

$up
I haven't been on blogger for a while. Oh how I've missed it! So let me tell you whats been going on. I went to a summer camp to be a camp advisor. I know what your thinking, it doesn't really seem like something I would do, and I agree. It was for a church that my mom goes to, I hadn't gone to that church since I was 18 and I don't really believe in it, but I understand the morals and agree with them. So I decided to go, because I felt like I could get a lot out of it and I felt like I had a lot to give. The camp was up by Idlewild, and unless you have been living under a rock for the past five days, you would know there is a crazy wild fire a-burnin up there. I am pretty afraid of fire, so as soon as I found out about it I wanted to leave. The camp actually wasn't that bad it was nice, some of the advisors where actually really fucking rude to me for no good reason. Let me just say something, a lot of the advisors are adults, not like 20-25 like adult adults (30-60) it's weird. So 2 days ago now (wednesday) we got evacuated because the smoke was becoming harmful, and apparently the fire had turned around and was headed in our direction. We were instructed to take only our valuable things, so I put on all the clothes that I had brought, because I am a freak about my clothing. I literally wore 2 pairs of pants a skirt 2 shirts and overalls and a vest, and I put the rest in a small backpack that I had brought. We then went on busses to Hemet High School and we had to sleep on the floor with a bunch of teenagers. It wasn't the best experience, but we got a bunch of food which was awesome, and I am so grateful for the red cross for taking care of us. After that we went to a church in Palm Desert were they tried to finnish the camp, but ultimately it ended 2 days early. So I am home now, there is so much more to the camp experience that I had that I just don't feel like writing about, but I am so happy that I am home and get to sleep in my own bed. However, now I have to dog sit so I cant go out this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to keep my few readers posted on my outfits though!

The dress is a favorite of mine. Its just the right amount of tacky. I got it in Oakland at Goodwill, and I had to take it in, because it was made for someone much larger. I really love the way it looks. The image on the material is of a cow with a kiss mark on their butt. I am not wearing shoes because we went to the beach (before I left for camp). The shoes I am holding however are Ego and Greed. I have blogged about them before, but incase you were wondering I got them at wasteland in San Francisco on my last visit.

Purp

$up,
So I am finally done with taking care of my great grandma. Thank God. I love her, but man I just don't have patients (which is horrible). I am glad to be free to do other things though. Last night Ryan and I went to get his nose pierced. It looks really cool actually. His nose is a little bit crooked so his septum piercing looks kind of crooked, but it still looks really cool. Afterwards we went to a small kick back, I didn't really know to many people there. I just went there to hangout with Lauren and Nicole who I haven't seen in a long time, so it was really nice to see them and catch up.

I got new lipstick from Lime crime and I am really obsessed with it. I got the green mint lipstick and centrifushia lipstick and they arrived yesterday. I wore the mint one last night, and I think it looked kind of strange, I think my skin tone is pale but not pale enough to rock a pastel lip color. The centrifushia one is beautiful and I am really excited to wear it in my next post. In the picture the lipstick looks kinda shitty because its a little bit fadded.

Mamadoux

So almost a year ago, on instagram, I found out about Mamadoux. I loved all the stuff that they would post. All the pictures were so beautiful and I really loved how colorful and different all the clothing was. It kind of had this 90s nostalgic , rave culture vibe going on. They still don't really sell their clothing on a lot of clothing sites, they actually only have their stuff on The Cobra Shop, but they only have like 5 things listed. I emailed them asking about buying some of their clothes. I would love one of their leotards or a skirt, or both depending on the pricing. Check them out they are seriously awesome.

$up,
I had an interview over the phone this morning with London College of Fashion. It was at 3 in the afternoon in London, which is 7 in the morning here. That is like in the middle of the night for me (I'm not a morning person.). I was really nervous because I had an interview 2 weeks ago, and the women that interviewed me was not the most friendly. She acted like she didn't like any of the answers I was giving her. The end of that interview she wanted me to send her more artwork and then I would get a follow up interview. So this morning someone else called me from the college and he was soo much nicer. I took a breath of relief when I herd someone else's voice on the other end of the phone. He seemed to really like all the answers I gave him, which made me feel great. He told me when he first saw my artwork he was like "She's mad!" but when he looked at the other artwork I had sent in he realized that I was "very talented, and a well rounded artist." This made me feel so wonderful. And then we started talking about the course that I had applied for (Foundations in Shoe Design). He asked me why I applied for this course when I had written in personal statement that I my goal was to get a Bachelors degree in shoe design. I said that I didn't feel that I had enough knowledge about shoe design, and didn't want to be over my head. He then went on to tell me that I was ready for the Bachelors Degree program and then he offered me a spot. I was so ecstatic I quickly said "I would love to!"

You guys, I'm moving to London!

Music- Asleep- The Smiths. I love this song. I feel like when songs like this are used in popular movies (Perks of Being a Wallflower) they kind of get ruined in a sense. Not really ruined but I guess the musically ignorant people think that the song was made for the movie. People that saw that movie that have never herd of the smiths, I am happy that you learned about them, because they are super great. But they are old and this song does not "belong" to that movie.
