Living Life in a Catsuit

Coat/ Glendale Goodwill, Shoes/ Urban Outfitters, Catsuit/ Sunthrift, Sunglasses/ Giant Vintage Sunglasses

$up,
For a long time I have really wanted to get a catsuit. I remember my best friend Sahara let me borrow a black catsuit that she had for halloween. I dressed up as a ghost, but the costume was inconvenient to wear at parties, so I would take it off and just be wearing this really cute catsuit. I have wanted one every since then I suppose. They are kind of hard to find when your a cheep-skate like me. I found this one at Sun Thrift, and I guess it was just pure luck. I find you cant really go into thrift stores with a clear image of something you want, because odds are you are not going to find it, and then you'll be kinda bummed out. The catsuit doesn't really fit properly yet, but I plan on fixing it as soon as my mom sends me my peddle for my sewing machine. Yeah you read that correctly, she sent me my machine without my peddle.. Silly mommy.

Moody Blues

Sunglasses/ Giant Vintage Sunglasses, Skirt/ Sun Thrift, Shoes/ Ego and Greed, Shirt/ Sun Thrift.

$up lovelies,
Over the weekend I did a shoot with a girl named Rachel. She is living in my halls and she is from New York. She is only here for the semester, but she is super nice and super talented. We went to this laundry mat just down the road from us. It was kind of a dark dingy day which showed up in a sort of magical way in the photos. I really like the way they came out, they look very raw.

These glasses are another pair from Giant Vintage Sunglasses. I absolutely love the way they look. They are modeled after the Miumiu Glasses, but they are super affordable and comfortable. I am so happy to add them to my glasses collection. The shirt and top I got at Sun Thrift but at different times. That is one thing I really miss about being back in LA is my many trips to Sun Thrift. The shoes I got at Wasteland in my last trip up to oakland. I miss my Oakland friends a great deal, I am really happy that I was able to take that trip up there. This is the last time I am going to be able to wear my hair like this, because this weekend I am getting it cut. I don't know exactly how short because it isn't up to me (I got picked to be in a hair show), but it's going to be fun and exciting.

Lately I have been obsessed with mood rings, so I decided to only wear mood rings. I really like the look of them because they are always changing colors, but they are never the same color. I think it's my body's way of saying, "hey, your really confused!" Not to say I am depressed of anything, but just being away from home and I guess not fully on my own two feet yet, I have had so many mixed emotions. It's weird to feel so many different, conflicting things all at one time. I know things will get better of course, but for the time being, it's fun to have something like this.

London Homies

Sweater/ Oakland Goodwill, Shirt/ Salvation Army, Leggings/ Target, Shoes/ Vagabond, Hat/ Camden Market, Glasses/ Giant Vintage Sunglasses.

$up,
This past weekend has made me feel so at ease because it seems like things are finally starting to fall into place. I have started my course at Uni, and I am excited about something for the first time in a long time. Today we went over the course load and our time tables, and I feel a little stressed but mostly just excited to learn and really show everyone what I am made of. I have this overwhelming feeling that I am going to wow my professors, and it feels so good. I finally feel like I am in the right place at the right time. I have never felt that way before.

Over the weekend I met up with this Wonderful photographer studying at London College of Fashion named, Tish Jarrett. She contacted me via email to colab for a shoot. I was super stoked because I have these awesome new glasses from Giant Vintage Sunglasses that I wanted to have captured for my blog. We went to this really cool courtyard of an apartment complex that was entirely filled with graffiti. I would have liked to get some more pictures there wearing different outfits, but the inconvenient thing about living in London is you can only bring what you can carry. I did however get to sneak in one more look that I will be posting tomorrow! Tish was a really nice girl and a really talented photographer. If you want to see more of her work you can look at her site here.

Music- I haven't really been on the look out for new music which bums me out a bit, but I will be scouting for some next week, so I can give you some new stuff to listen to! Face to Face- Daft Punk.

Last Roll of America

These pictures are from our family trip to Disneyland. I love Disneyland or really just anything Disney, I feel like I say at least once a day "I wanna go to Disneyland." I decided to rock a pink fro, and everyone thought I was wearing a wig, but alas it was my real hair. Most of my pictures are of my brother doing really weird things.
Lauren and I were going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Santa Monica before I left but we basically didn't get there in time so on our way back we got candy and some drinks to watch a movie at my house. I found these siq Shaq drinks, almost bought one..
This was 90s night at Blue Mondays!
These were from my Mom and Grandma's 50s/70s themed party. My mom turned 50 and my Grandma turned 70. Lauren and Ryan both dressed 70s while I chose to dress 50s.
This is me conquering Salvation Mountain. I wanted to take a picture with my mom but we were the only people there at that time.
This was at Dylan's S&M Birthday party, the second to last day spent in America, and it was sooo fun!
This was Lauren doing an egg trick wrong, so it broke in her hand. This was my last night :(
